Experienced litigator (with especial emphasis on the nexus of business law and criminal law), advises on the legal aspects of business operations. Represents Clients at all instances in disputes relating to construction projects and IT contracts as well as in white-collar crime cases. Before joining GESSEL in 2020, worked with a number of renowned Polish law firms and with the legal department of an international consultancy specialising in IT systems implementation for the financial sector.

Criminal law, white-collar crime

  • Defence of participants of peaceful demonstrations outside Polish Parliament in 2017 and of counter-demonstrations to the “Smolensk monthly marches” in 2018 
  • Representation of individuals accused of membership in an organised crime group defrauding lenders 
  • Representation of secondary plaintiffs in a case for breach of trust and misappropriation of assets brought against a corporate director
  • Defence before the Supreme Court in a criminal case reprised following an extraordinary intervention by the prosecutor general of the Republic of Poland

  • Representation of a contractor seeking reduction of blatantly exorbitant liquidated damages
