MERGERS AND ACQUISITIONS

Experience

Specialises in company law and mergers and acquisitions.

Advises corporate entities on a broad range of issues such as mergers (also ones with an international aspect), take-overs, restructuring of capital groups, and equity investments.

Represents Clients in domestic and international acquisitions, divestments, mergers, and joint venture projects, with an especial focus on public and private M&A and on corporate financing. Regularly advises on corporate governance matters.

Advises private equity funds – and also their portfolio companies – on private take-overs, demergers, joint investments and consortium projects, and general business law.

Advised domestic and foreign entities, on the buy as well as sell sides, on transactions in the private and public markets; in this connection, she is conversant in reporting and disclosure duties incumbent on Warsaw-listed companies, the Market Abuse Regulation, and in proceedings before the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.

Before joining GESSEL in 2021, worked with leading international law firms and in investment banking.

Education

  • Completed a postgraduate degree course at the Legal Studies Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences (focusing on company law, with a doctoral thesis on corporate governance)
  • Faculty of Law and Administration, University of Warsaw
  • Degree course in finance, accounting, and economic analysis of law, Warsaw School of Economics
  • Also completed a course in American law organised by the University of Warsaw in collaboration with the University of Florida Levin College of Law
