Dr Beata Gessel Kalinowska vel Kalisz joins an arbitration panel at the Seventh Forum of Legal Department Directors

The Seventh Forum of Legal Department Directors of the Puls Biznesu daily was held on 17-18 September 2014. As always, this year’s edition brought together legal practitioners and members of academia.

During the event, Dr Gessel joined a panel debate entitled “Business Arbitration as an Alternative to Litigation”, which focused on arbitration process rules in Poland and in other jurisdictions and on the risks and opportunities facing Polish arbitration. The panellists also debated whether business arbitration might, someday, somehow substitute for the general courts in business-related disputes.
