GESSEL expanding its public procurement and public-private partnership practice

We are pleased to announce the addition of Michał Peljan, attorney, to our firm’s public procurement and public-private partnership practice, beginning 15 April.

Michał Peljan was admitted to practice as an attorney by the regional bar association in Poznań; he also completed a doctoral degree at that city’s Adam Mickiewicz University. His specialisation is in public procurement law, public-private partnerships, construction works contracts, legal services for construction and infrastructure investments, and real property. He represents clients from the construction, medical, and energy industries before the National Appeals Chamber and before the general courts and in contractual negotiations.

In his practice to date, Michał Peljan has provided day-to-day legal support to business enterprises and to public entities. He has advised local self-government bodies and national authorities on public-private partnership issues, public procurement, zoning, and environmental protection.

He has provided comprehensive legal services to international construction companies with respect to construction projects concerning motorways (the A1 and A2), airports, railways, and power generation plans. He is the author of legal analyses concerning construction of waste incineration plants in the public-private partnership model.

Apart from writing on his areas of practice – primarily construction law, Michał Peljan is also a university lecturer in administrative law and leads practical workshops on the legal aspects of infrastructure investments.
