Prof Marek Michalski accorded the scientific title of professor of legal sciences

We are happy to announce that the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski, has accorded to Marek Michalski, professor at Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University and Dean of its Faculty of Law and Administration, of Counsel at GESSEL, the title of professor of legal sciences. This is a state title accorded for life with the approval of the Central Commission for Degrees and Titles, recognising the individual’s contributions and achievements not only within academia, but also to the broader advancement of Polish society.

In his academic work, Prof Marek Michalski, with GESSEL since 2008, focuses on securities and financial instruments, public equity markets, banking law, securities and financial institutions law, and commercial law. He is the author and co-author of numerous publications in these areas, including commentaries to the relevant legal instruments.
