RZECZPOSPOLITA RANKING OF LAW FIRMS 2022

There’s just no way around it – GESSEL features prominently in the annual ranking of law firms prepared by the “Rzeczpospolita” daily, much like in previous years !

We are named among the 20 firms recognised for laying the foundations for the legal services market in Poland. We welcome this honour as confirmation that, after the political and economic transformation in 1989, we – and our predecessors at the firm – were among the first who took the plunge into the new market realities, helping to build the sector into what it is today.

In terms of the qualified professional headcounts, of the 321 legal outfits surveyed, we were ranked 17th, up from 25th. Our growth is thus attested to by the addition of new hires, and some of our younger colleagues are successfully gaining admission to practice as advocates and attorneys.

Our pro bono efforts associated with the war in Ukraine have been recognised with an honourable mention.

Leszek Koziorowski himself was named as a leader in the Preparation of IPOs category, and Dr Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz – as a recommended lawyer in the International disputes category.
