GESSEL successfully represents Döhler Sp. z o.o. in negotiations with UOKiK

The legislative Act regarding counteraction of abuse of contracting advantage in dealing in agricultural produce and foodstuffs has been on the statute books for almost two years. UOKiK, the Polish antirust and consumer protection authority, has just announced the conclusion of proceedings and the issue of a commitment decision (dated 20 May 2019) in the case of Döhler Sp. z o.o.; UOKiK agreed to the terms proposed by the company and refrained from imposing a penalty.

In its dealings with UOKiK and in negotiation of the commitment decision, Döhler Sp. z o.o. was represented by Bernadeta Kasztelan-Świetlik, head of GESSEL’s competition law practice.
