Adam Kraszewski, partner at GESSEL, also emphasises the importance of the medicinal safety aspect in contemplating any adjustments to the pharmaceutical law. On the other hand, however, he observes that streamlining the permits procedure may contribute to increasing the number of small pharmacies, which tend to be sited in rural and remote areas for whose inhabitants access to a “full” pharmacy is an oftentimes problematic issue.
“Ensuring access to medicinal products is important. Accordingly, the proposed changes are, in their essence, desirable, and it is commendable that the problem of pharmaceuticals availability in rural regions is being noticed”, Adam Kraszewski explains (…)
