Recourse to the Representation Fund by an Employee

If an employee draws on resources of her employer’s representation fund for business purposes, no income accrues to her. If, however, the representation fund is tapped for private purposes, the employer may add the equivalent amount to the employee’s remuneration and make tax deductions accordingly, explains Inarda Bielińska, attorney at GESSEL.
