Eliza joined the Gessel law firm in 2023. She actively participates in projects related to legal services for Polish companies with foreign capital and deals with the preparation of documentation needed for foreign entrepreneurs to start and conduct business in Poland.

She also assists with civil and labour law consultancy work for German-speaking clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Gessel gained experience in government offices and companies, where she dealt with financial, tax and insurance law issues.

During her studies, she provided free legal assistance within the Law Clinic in the civil law section. She combines her professional work with scientific and academic activities.

Education and achievements

  • Doctoral student at the Doctoral School of Social Sciences, University of Warsaw – doctoral dissertation in legal logic in preparation (from 2023).
  • Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw (2023)
  • Graduate of the British Law School organised by the University of Warsaw in cooperation with the University of Cambridge (The Centre for the Study of English and European Law – British Law Centre)
