Michał has nearly a decade of professional experience in corporate law, specializing in mergers and acquisitions. Joined GESSEL in 2016, since then has advised on numerous asset deals and share deals, both on the buy-side and the sell-side, for a variety of clients, including founders, private equity funds and venture capital funds.
Has a particular focus on alternative investment funds, including their formation and operations.

- Advised MEWO S.A. and its shareholders on the PLN 62.5 million investment by Vinci, a fund within the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego group
- Advised a public company, cyber_Folks, on the acquisition of the French company PrestaShop for approximately EUR 53 million through SPV cyber_Pixel and the contribution of Polish technology companies Sylius and BitBag thereto
- Sale of shares in Ela Wyrób Folii i Opakowań to TEP Capital
- Acquisition of a minority stake in Euvic IT S.A. by Senetic Holding S.A.
- Advised cyber_Folks S.A. on the acquisition of a 49.9% stake in listed company Shoper S.A., a SaaS e-commerce platform provider, from private equity fund Value4Capital and other shareholders for approximately PLN 547 million
- Closing of the transaction to form the joint venture company Elemental Strategic Metals with Ascend Elements.
- Acquisition of mezzanine investment from ACP for eFaktor S.A.
- The sale of shares of Cyber_Folks S.A. in Profitroom S.A. to MCI Fund
- Transaction to create a joint venture Elemental Strategic Metals with Ascend Elements
- Investment of Polska Ceramika Ogniotrwała Serwis S.A., a Lode Group company, in PW Partner
- Acquisition of a 19 MW photovoltaic farm project by Luneos Green Energy sp. z o.o.
- R22 S.A. and H88 S.A. investment in Sellintegro sp. z o.o.
- Sale of Simple S.A., a public company listed on the WSE, through a tender offer announced by Total Specific Solutions, a Constellation Software Inc. group entity
- Sale of Veracomp S.A.’s business to an entity that is part of the Exclusive Networks international group
- Sale of shares of R2G Polska sp. z o. o., operating under the Apaczka brand, to Abris Capital Partners Ltd. fund
- Sale of a stake in PayPro S.A. (operator of Przelewy24) to Nets Denmark a.s. (a portfolio company of Hellman & Friedman, Advent International and Bain Capital)
