GESSEL advises Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas on its investment in Dafo Plastics

GESSEL advised Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas on its investment in Dafo Plastics, the packaging producer from Nowy Targ. As a result of this transaction, Bank BGŻ now holds a minority stake in the company and has taken up its bonds.

For several years, Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas, working through its Equity Investments Office, has pursued a course of investments in small and medium-sized Polish companies. To date, it has become involved in 10 companies; seeing as, in some cases, Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas participated in more than one round of financing, this makes for a total of 14 investments, with more in the pipeline. GESSEL is proud to have supported Bank BGŻ BNP Paribas in many of these projects, including its investments in TLC, Jars and PG Energetyka Sp. z o.o.

Dafo Plastics, founded 27 years ago, manufactures plastic bottles, jars, tubes and a variety of caps, lids etc. for customers in, among other sectors, the cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries.

GESSEL’s advice on this project was of a multi-faceted character, touching upon all aspects of the transaction documentation.
