GESSEL represents Sunfish Partners in its investment in Aether Biomedical

GESSEL advised the Sunfish Partners fund in an investment round which involved its joining with Chiratae Ventures and Joyance Partners to invest in Aether Biomedical.

The resulting financing will be relied on by the company as it rolls out its first major product – Zeus, a bionic prosthetic device for upper limb amputees.

The GESSEL team working on this project comprised Małgorzata Badowska, partner and Weronika Zdeb, senior associate. Among our other responsibilities, our lawyers negotiated the investment agreement and the assorted corporate and technical documents.

Aether Biomedical concentrates on medical robotics, working on technologies for processing of biosignals to design and improve bionic devices for amputation patients.
