Legal aspects of securities and financial instruments, public trade in securities, banking law, equity market and financial institutions law, business law.

Author and co-author of many professional publications dealing with his areas of specialisation, including commentaries to the following legislative instruments: (i) Public Trading in Securities Law. Commentary, (CH Beck, Warsaw, 1999); (ii) Banking Law (Twigger, Warsaw, 1999), (iii) Investment Funds Law. Commentary (CH Beck, Warsaw, 1999), (iv) Law on Certain Financial Securities. Commentary (Twigger, Warsaw, 2005), and the monographs: (i) The Joint Stock Company in Public Trading in Securities (ABC, Warsaw, 2000), (ii) Capital Control Over the Joint Stock Company (Zakamycze, Krakow, 2004), (iii) The Joint Stock Company (Wolters Kluwer, Warsaw, 2007), (iv) Commercial Companies Code. Commentary, vol. I (Warsaw 2017).

Through 2008, member of the Supervisory Board of the Warsaw Stock Exchange S.A. Within this capacity, member of the following WSE Board Committees: Human Resources and Compensation Committee, Committee for Regulatory Issues, and Corporate Governance Committee. President of the Court of Arbitration of the National Depository of Securities, arbitrator with the Arbitration Court operating under the auspices of the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan. On numerous occasions, submitted expert testimony before the Research and Expertise Office of Polish Parliament. Sits on the Amicable Tribunal affiliated with the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Over 1996-2000, Director of the Legal Department of the National Depository of Securities; subsequently of counsel to the Warsaw offices of Salans and a partner in a Warsaw legal practice. Over 1996-2000, Director of the Legal Department of the National Depository of Securities; subsequently of counsel to the Warsaw offices of Salans and a partner in a Warsaw legal practice. Through 2017, member of the Codification Commission, also contributing to the team tasked with reform of Polish company law. As of 2017, permanent arbitrator of the arbitration tribunal of the Office of General Counsel to the Republic of Poland.
