BIO

Wiktoria supports Clients in the area of copyright law, industrial property law, as well as fair competition principles. She prepares license agreements, agreements transferring rights, and reviews Clients’ activities from the perspective of fair competition. He also participates in litigation in cases of infringement of personal rights. Wiktoria has experience in litigation before the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (oppositions to applications, applications for cancellation or extinguishment of trademarks). She supports the M&A team in conducting due diligence in the areas of intellectual property and personal data.
During her studies, she was active as a volunteer at the Maciej Bednarkiewicz Academia Iuris Foundation.

Selected projects

  • Advised a public company, cyber_Folks, on the acquisition of the French company PrestaShop for approximately EUR 53 million through SPV cyber_Pixel and the contribution of Polish technology companies Sylius and BitBag thereto
  • Advised LUX MED on the acquisition of the Mental Path network of seven mental health centres operating in five cities across Poland
  • participated in efforts to eliminate counterfeit goods from the market, including participating in litigation, taking contact with online stores and sales platforms to block online auctions
  • took part in civil litigation for violating the right to the company and the rules of fair competition of entities in the advertising industry
  • participated in litigation proceedings before the Polish Patent Office and the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO)
  • supported the legal service of the advertising campaign at the stage of preparing the contract for the implementation of the campaign and side agreements with subcontractors, including participation in negotiations
  • provided opinions on clients’ activities in terms of compliance with the principles of fair competition
  • supported entrepreneurs in registering trademarks and industrial designs and obtaining EU funding for this purpose
  • supported an IT client in a dispute over improper performance of an implementation contract
