An alliance between GESSEL and Dariusz Okolski / Real estate practice at GESSEL

Over the 25 years of its operations, GESSEL has built up expertise – and, in many areas, contributed to the shaping of – almost all main areas of Polish law. For a long time, our practice has involved various aspects of real estate law; now, in response to demand among our Clients and in the market at large, we are opening a new chapter in this field by launching a cooperation with Dariusz Okolski, a renowned authority with extensive experience in real estate law, also in its tax and investment aspects.

Through this alliance, we aim to deliver even greater value to our Clients, also as regards the finer points of real estate law.

Dariusz Okolski will cooperate with GESSEL’s existing real estate practice composed of Aldona Pietrzak, Piotr Schramm and Christian Schmidt.

Advocate, attorney. Graduate of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, also holds a postgraduate degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Tübingen and completed courses in comparative law at the University of Strasbourg and in American law at DePaul University in Chicago. Previously practiced at the international law firms of Altheimer&Gray, Clifford Chance and Haarmann Hemmelrath, also managed the in-house legal departments of Skanska Polska and of Blue City, a real estate developer. Specialises in the law of obligations, real estate law, contracts for construction works and consortium contracts. Arbitrator at the Arbitration Court of the National Chamber of Commerce in Warsaw. His clients to date included Polish and international business entities, including developers, financial institutions (insurers, brokers and leasing companies), medical entities and food producers. Also advises on disputes. Fluent in English and in German.
