Corporate social responsibility
A certain goodwill which it has been our privilege to enjoy in various circles is one of the reasons why, for twenty years now, GESSEL has been able to effectively pursue its business objectives. In an effort to repay some of this goodwill, GESSEL has consistently supported the work of entities associated with the arts, the public interest, and education. These efforts are informed not only by a sense of corporate civic duty, but also by genuine interest; and thus, we tap the talents and skills of various members of our team in working for the general good in the three areas just mentioned.
Our charity work has been honoured, among other laudations, by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna (DGP) and by the Rzeczpospolita daily in 2009. Rzeczpospolita’s editors have praised our commitment to pro bono work. The sixth iteration of DGP’s ranking of law firms noted our work for the artistic community and our gratuitous legal advice to charities and public interest entities. In April 2012, Beata Gessel-Kalinowska vel Kalisz received a Forbes Professional title in recognition of her consistency and initiative in actively promoting charity and education.
