GESSEL provided multidisciplinary legal support to VirtusLab in its takeover of SoftwareMill, a computer programme consultant. We are proud to have assisted our Client in what is another step of a strategy geared at nurturing a group of diverse, autonomous tech outfits.

Our lawyers conducted due diligence, assessed the antitrust aspects, advised on bank financing, and drafted the transaction documentation. Throughout the process, GESSEL served as lead counsel, coordinating the input of advisors from Poland, the UK, and Luxembourg.

VirtusLab

The VirtusLab Group is active in software engineering and IT consulting. Its 500 staff members liaise closely with technical services on the client side, attending to successful IT transformation, development of native cloud applications, and execution of data science and data engineering projects.

SoftwareMill

SoftwareMill is a consulting agency and a producer of tailormade software, proactively supporting its clients in implementation of cloud computing, big data, stream processing and machine learning technologies.
