Specialises in proceedings before the general courts and arbitration tribunals, especially in the realm of civil liability. His practice to date involved a number of disputes concerning infrastructure projects and disputes on contract performance, also in the aspect of representations and warranties in investment agreements.
Disposes of a thorough grounding in various aspects of legal process. Worked at the District Court for Krakow-Podgórze and, for two years, at the Regional Court in Krakow; also completed an internship at a Krakow law firm (2009). Represented Clients in disputes to the aggregate value of approximately PLN 500 mln before the general courts, the Polish Supreme Court, the Arbitration Court of the International Chamber of Commerce in Paris, the Arbitration Court of the National Chamber of Commerce, and ad hoc tribunals convened in accordance with the UNCITRAL rules. His work on GESSEL’s litigation team also involves litigation management, planning long-term case strategies and innovative solutions. His practice involving infrastructure projects has involved disputes subject to the FIDIC rules. With GESSEL since 2011.
LLM (with honourable mention) from the Faculty of Law and Administration at Jagiellonian University in Krakow (2010); currently working on his PhD concerning the statute of limitations for criminal liability. In 2009, received an award in the 12th annual competition for commentary to a Supreme Court, Constitutional Tribunal, or Supreme Administrative Court ruling; in 2010, participated in civil process workshops at Jagiellonian University.
